You’ve looked around at the world we are living in and have become more and more dissatisfied.
We’re becoming less and less healthy. The food you can afford has almost no nutritional value.
But you know that your family needs healthy, nutritious food, yet, how can you provide that on a budget? So, you decide you want to grow a garden but that also seems out of reach, expensive, and time consuming.
It’s hard trying to live a life full of meaning and purpose when you constantly find yourself exhausted from the day to day grind.
You also want to spend more meaningful time with your kids, without stressing over getting them to school and soccer practice on time.
And most importantly, you want to be a loving wife, but you’re so overwhelmed with all the demands our modern world has put on you, you simply don’t feel you have enough time, or energy to be the wife you wanted.

If you aren’t gardening here in the sunshine state, don’t worry! There’s still a lot of helpful tips you’ll get to adapt to your own garden, no matter where you are.
My husband, Kyle, and I live in the beautiful Sunshine state, where I was born and raised. We met at college in Hawaii and soon after our marriage returned to Florida. We’ve been married for seven years and have four handsome little men.
We struggled with finances for the majority of our marriage, which turns out was a blessing. It pushed us to learn skills we never would have learned, and forced us to be creative with our resources. We learned how to grow food, cook from scratch, and even raise small livestock in a suburban backyard. Now, I’m here to share what I’ve learned with you all, and I hope you, too, can benefit from it.
