1/2cupyogurt
1/2cuppure maple syrup
2largeeggs
1/4cupbuttermelted, sub coconut oil
1tbspvanilla extract
Add in's
1/2cupchocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9x13" baking dish, set aside.
Place dry ingredients, oats, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
Add mashed banana's, yogurt, maple syrup, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated. Batter will be thick.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly in the pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and the edges are golden brown. Do not overbake.
Let cool for about ten minutes before serving. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week. If you can make them last that long. ;)
Notes
Feel free to add chopped nuts, dates, or raisins to these bars. These would also be great with sweet potato, pumpkin, or apple sauce if you don't have/prefer banana's. You could even swirl in some peanut butter around the top... yum!
